“Be still, and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10
Dear Father, There are times in this busy and troubled world that I need a resting place, a place of safety where I can still and calm my soul. Is there such a place? the Psalmist says so. “Even though the earth should be moved or the mountains quake and slip into the sea,” there is One who remains unchanged and unchanging. He is the One the Psalmist writes to whom we may flee in times of trouble.
Today, dear Lord, this moment, I turn off my mind to the things of this world, still my heart before You, and know that “You are God,” my strength and my safe refuge. In the strong Name of Jesus, Amen!
