“So that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us” Hebrews 6:18.
Today’s Prayer
Dear Father, I confess in this day and time in which we live that I need hope and encouragement. If I seek it in today’s world and events, I find very little of either. But there is a source to which I can turn, and that is found in You, oh God, the one true God who changes not, in whom is eternal hope and peace.
In You, the immutable and unchanging God who is “the same yesterday and today and forevermore” I place my trust and my hope. Though all else fails, You remain the same forever and forever, the One who changes not. Amen
